Fabulous february

The season is in full swing, and we have had some absolutely amazing powder days.. This was yesterday somewhere close (not telling you where :).

Part of Serre Che ski area opens early!

Serre Chevalier Vallée has announced that the Monêtier ski area will open earlier than expected; the weekend 03-04 Dec 2011! Read more on the Serre Che-website, which by the way is new and much improved:

It smells of winter..

Today we woke up to this:

I think I speak for many people living in Serre Chevalier when I say that we are now ready for winter! August, september and most of october has been incredibly sunny and warm, so we actually feel pretty "done" with summer.. Luxury, right?

And timely enough, the past few days have been very chilly, it actually smells of winter.. Of course, nobody has their winter tires on yet, so this is a time when some of us may get a little "snowed in" ;-).

Great news from Sweden!

We got a nice surprise the other day when Åka Skidor, the biggest ski magazine in Sweden, published an article about Swedish hotel owners in the Alpes, with a big feature on Tina!
